Work Of Art
Work of Art is a musical collaboration between greater WE and The Boyce L. Ansley School, a tuition-free school in Atlanta serving children who have experienced homelessness. Co-written by students in grades 3–5 and singer-songwriter Chad Price, it’s more than a song — it’s a creative fundraiser supporting real student needs today and in the long run.
About Our Song
Work of Art is the culmination of a 12 week songwriting program led by singer-songwriter Chad Price in partnership with greater WE and The Boyce L. Ansley School.Over the course of the program, Chad worked directly with students in grades 3–5 to explore songwriting as a form of emotional expression, storytelling, and healing. Together, they wrote the lyrics, shaped the melody, and recorded the vocals — with students not only contributing to the writing but also singing on the final recording.The result is Work of Art — a song about imperfection, resilience, and learning to find strength in your story. It reflects the students’ voices both literally and figuratively, and stands as a powerful piece of creative work that they helped bring into the world.
